The Scythians were an ancient tribe existing from the 8th to the 4th Centuries BC, who originating in Siberia, and settled in the areas of Eurasia, from the Danube across to China. They were considered great horsemen and excellent archers and sported a bow that was small, powerful and elegant but which did not have the syhas associated with the bows of later Steppes people such as the Mongols and Huns.
The Scythian bow is Ideal for young and old archers alike who are interested in a lighter bow. With an accentuated curvature at its ends the Scythian is entirely fiberglass and completely covered in fine quality leather. It measures 51 ¾“ unstrung and 47 ¾“ strung with an optimum draw of 26”.
