If battle shafts is what you are after then the medieval short bodkin point is a must. These hand crafted points are a faithful reproduction of one of the most widely used points used on the medieval battlefield. The short bodkin was created to combat the ever increasing popularity of plate amour in the 14th Century. Will fit both 11/32 and 23/64 shafts.
The Long bodkinThese hand made, historically accurate, long bodkins were the precursor to the short bodkin and rose to prominence on the battle field when maille was more prevalent than plate amour. The thin needle like point pierced the gaps in maille easily. Will fit both 11/32 and 23/64 shafts.
The SwallowtailThe swallowtail was used for both hunting and military applications. These three hand made, historically accurate points provide a window into the range of points used by archers in medieval warfare. Shown are the closed swallowtail, the open swallowtail and the long swallowtail. All points fit both 11/32 and 23/64 shafts. Note: NOT suitable for hunting.
