Building a vast empire in Europe after migrating from Central Asia around the 4th Century, the Hun were greatly feared and fought both against and with the Romans.
The Hun were magnificent horse archers with the bow being their primary weapon. However they also effectively employed the lance, shield and long sword in warfare.
Under Atilla, the Huns fractured tribes became one, and flourished until his death when their power dissolved.
The Hun bow measures 58.½" unstrung and 51.½" strung. The symmetrical Hun comes in draw weights from 30# to 60# @ 28". Smooth to draw, the finely crafted leather wrapping and fine ash wood syhas evoke the traditions of these great Steppes warriors.
