Building a vast empire in Europe after migrating from Central Asia around the 4th Century, the Hun were greatly feared and fought both against and with the Romans.
The Hun were magnificent horse archers with the bow being their primary weapon. However they also effectively employed the lance, shield and long sword in warfare.
Under Attila, the Huns fractured tribes became one, and flourished until his death when their power dissolved.
This bow is smooth to draw and the finely crafted leather or suede wrapping and fine ash wood syahs evoke the traditions of these great Steppes warriors. The Hun is available with either horn or wood laminations on the syahs. Contact us for information on Hun bows in stock.
