Wildwood Traditional Archery found its inception in our frustration as traditional archers in finding reliable traditional supplies that didn't cost the earth, and a desire to share our passion for traditional archery with others.

It was in sourcing bows for ourselves that we were fortunate enough to be introduced to Istvan Toth, our horse bow maker. With no more than an enthusiastic email, and an ‘electronic’ handshake, Istvan sent our first bows. Our horse bows were a huge drawcard at the first events we took them to. The sleek curves and the ease with which the recurve limbs and syahs made even our heaviest bows smooth to draw, left people spellbound.

Our newest supplier Pip Bickerstaffe is renowned throughout the UK as one of the finest craftsmen of the English Longbow. The illustrious history of the Longbow saw it dominate the battlefields of Europe, and change the course of warfare.

It is our hope that we can supply fellow traditional archers with reasonably priced equipment of the finest craftsmanship and in doing so help keep the amazing artisans that produce them in the business of doing what they do best.
